Miami-based artist Edison Peñafiel's installation comprises banners displaying various phrases that draw inspiration from songs, idioms, and the experiences of refugees. This artwork weaves a narrative of migration, encapsulating the conflicting emotions of departing from the familiar to embrace an uncertain future.
In this project, my mission was to bring this installation to life by crafting an outdoor sign and producing a compelling video reel. The aim was to capture the essence of Edison's words and convey the profound story behind his work through his own voice and expressions.
