National Seafood Month is celebrated every year during the month of October. During this month, sustainable seafood restaurants focus on their sustainable ocean friendly dinner options. As for Sushi Maki, they focus on being the first sushi chain restaurant to earn Marine Stewardship Council Stewardship (MSC). MSC is the leading organization in the United States that sources seafood products from certified sustainable fisheries. 
For the year 2020, Sushi Maki chose to celebrate National Seafood Month by giving away free Volcano Fries; one of their MSC dishes. I created a fun, ocean look to market the dish and many of their other MSC options. This was promoted through a letter-sized sign that stands on the restaurants’ ordering counter; an A-frame sign that is poster size, a GIF e-blast, and GIF and jpg social media posts.
